As the site of the Reno-Tahoe Open, Montrêux is one of the nation’s best golf destinations. Northern Nevada is not only a tax haven, its quality of life is second to none. Recent great years with the University of Nevada basketball and football programs add an extra reason to get out of the house in the Truckee Meadows.
The natural surroundings of Montrêux include Lake Tahoe, one of the world’s deepest and most pristine lakes. Jack Nicklaus thinks Montrêux is one of his best designs, but if residents of this private, gated community have designs on an enriching lifestyle they can simply go outdoors for a hike or hit the slopes for world-class skiing.
Squaw Valley USA was the home of the 1960 Winter Olympic Games, and in the summer you can cool off with a slow ride down the Truckee River. This area of Nevada is a great postcard any time of year. Wish you were here?
